S/V Sabatayn

Motor-sailing vessel 'Sabatayn'

Our luxury expedition support vessel is the S/V Sabatayn

She was designed and built in New Zealand as a marine archaeological research vessel with a Lloyds +100A1 hull. She is fit-for-purpose and ready to go

She has comfortable berths for 10 passengers and crew; spacious interior, well-appointed galley and can carry a generous amount of fuel and water for crossing the oceans to the remotest islands and reefs.

As a large motor-sailing vessel with a 5 ton main hold there is plenty of room for bulky equipment such as scuba diving & oceanographic equipment, food & camping gear for longer duration conservation and science expeditions, commercial film gear, kayaks & surf boards etc

She is ideally suited for remote island expedition support
